Annual Meeting/ a
Letter From the Board |
|
Thursday, April 29th 12:30PM
Please come and show your support for your Senior
Center. Call 637-9025 and make a reservation for lunch
24 hours in advance. It is important for you to
attend, and voice your concerns and opinions. The Board
will be here to answer you questions and present the
state of the center.
Dear
FSC Members,
Thank
You to all of you who have renewed your Membership! The
Board and Staff are looking forward to another
successful year here at the Center. As
most of you know we have closed the kitchen on
Mondays and
shortened the Centers daily hours in an effort to
proactively deal with budget concerns. It
is our hope that this will be temporary and upon review
later this Spring we will be able to resume our regular
hours and meal schedule.
A
vital part of being able to accomplish this is to have a
successful Annual Appeal Campaign. Shortly
you will be receiving our Appeal
letter and
on behalf of myself and the Board, I am asking you to
please be as generous as you are able to ensure this
year’s success, we are counting on you! The
Appeal letter will be sent to the Fayetteville Community
as well; their response has always been very generous. You
can also assist with this Appeal by telling your
neighbors and friends about the Center and encouraging
them to give a gift also.
We
thank you for your continued support of the FSC. I
look forward to seeing you at the Mayor’s Dinner, March
7th, the Open House in May and other upcoming
events at the Center. If
you have any questions or concerns, please call the
Center, I am available to call you back or meet with
you.
Thank
you,
Mike Small
President Chairman of the
Board
