Afternoon Tea
and a Play |

Join us on Sunday, Feb. 12th
at 12:30pm for a "Garden" tea and a play by the
Senior Theater Group. Cost is $10.00 and it
includes a lunch of Tea Sandwiches, Fruit salad,
desserts, several different kinds of teas and of
course other beverages. Wear your Sunday best or
come as you are. RSVP by noon 2/8 |

Dougs Fish Fry
on Ash Wednesday with Afternoon Entertainment |

Join
us for a wonderful meal. You can put your order in
and come for lunch or just pop in and get your meal
any time between 11am- 6pm. The center will be
having a bake sale that day, bakers are urgently
needed. Entertainment is a demonstration by Irish
dancers and at 5:30pm the entire Irish Dance Company
will perform. Thank you to Sheila Ohstrom for
presenting us with this opportunity.

Drivers Needed |

Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity? Well,
we have one for you. Many seniors in our community,
perhaps some of your neighbors, would love an
opportunity to spend the day at the center. Please
consider being a volunteer driver. Someday you may
have the same need as some of our current senior
population. Call the center and we will match you
with someone in need. |

Presentation |

Tues. Jan.
19th at 12:30pm, Suzanne Katko, CCC-A will be
here to do a presentation on hearing and hearing
devices. You may ask any questions and get a quick
assessment. |

Affordable Care Act Presentation |
|
A
representative of The Public Policy and Education
Fund will be here on Tues., Jan. 24th at 12:30pm for
a one hour presentation on the changes and
advantages for seniors under the Affordable Care
Act. If you have any questions about your care and
what you are entitled to, please come and ask. |

Dance/Exercise |
|
This class is tailored to fit all
levels. The class is similar to "zumba" with upbeat
dance like movement and a cool down. It is taught by
Kaity Best, Instructor at The Dance Studio in
Manlius and Dance Captain of the LeMoyne Dance Team.
Classes are at 3:15 Monday's starting on 1/9. This
is a six week course but for $31.00 but you can join
on a class by class basis for $5.00 a class.

Sunday afternoons. There is no cost for this program.

Tues., Feb. 7th, 12:30pm Dr.
Theodore Nnaji will speak on the types of
depressions we all can face at any time of our
lives. He will speak on primarily on health,
environmental and wellness triggers in Seniors.

Open Drawing Studio
Wednesday Mornings at 10:00am |

Deb Terwilliger will be conducting an Open Drawing
Studio to give any artists the opportunity to practice
their drawing skills. You will be able to draw with
others and be able to get some guidance and feedback
from someone that knows the art form. Please bring your
own supplies. This workshop will run indefinitely.
Cost: $4.00 a day
