membership/Registration Renewal
The Center
is a place to call home and form long lasting friendships. In an
effort to maintain and grow our membership, we are reducing our 2012
Registration dues to $10.00 a household. This is a significant
reduction from last years dues of $15.00 a person or $25.00 a
couple. The funds will offset the cost of our newsletter. The $10.00
may be excused in cases of financial need. In addition we are
requesting $1.00 per person per time charge for groups using the
center for programs such as bridge, music, art and exercise, to be
collected by the group leader. This money will go toward our
programming budget. Finally we are asking all visitors to complete a
registration/emergency contact form on or before their third visit
to the Center. Our membership drive will continue through February.
Thank you for your support.
Drivers Needed
Are you
looking for a volunteer opportunity? Well, we have one for you!!
Many seniors in our community, perhaps some of your neighbors, would
love an opportunity to spend the day at our senior center. Please
consider being a volunteer driver. Someday you may have the same
need as some of our current senior population. Call the center and
we will match you with someone in need.
If you need
a ride to the center for a fun filled day of activity and
friendship, please call 48 hours in advance of the day you would
like to come in and we will try to get you a ride. call 637-9025 for
more details. Thank you.

Snow days
Remember if the Fayetteville
Manlius schools are closed the Fayetteville Senior Center will be
closed. Please watch your tv for the school closings. If there is a
delay or it is a regular day off for the school district then please
call the center to make sure we are here.
Illness Reminder
Out of consideration for all our
members and staff, please stay home if you are coughing, have a sore
throat, sneezing or have a fever. The flu is extremely contagious
and you should stay home for at least 36 hours once symptoms have
subsided. Staff may ask you to leave if they have concerns for your
health or the health of others. We will all be here upon your return
to full health.
